An exploration of my interest in observing the interpersonal relationships between humans and how entanglements with technology are informing them. Furthermore a question on how/if these elements such as social media and the internet prevent us from connecting with one another authentically?

_ BIOGRAPHY
Originally from amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton), Julianna Heft (she/her) is a contemporary movement and performance artist currently based in Tkaronto (Toronto). Julianna is a graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre where she performed works by choreographers such as Riley Sims, Heidi Strauss and B. Solomon, among others. Her choreographic research is focused on different relationship dynamics, her works include two dance films and living spaces of open people for the choreographic workshop at The School. Since arriving in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), Julianna has been continuing to explore her physical practice through a variety of styles and is excited to see where that takes her moving forward.
