

ESPACE OUVERT is a support organization based in Montreal (Canada) with the mission to offer dance, theater, circus, visual art and performance artists several opportunities for their career development and artistic practice in a collaborative, caring and diversity-promoting environment.

Continue your training with technical classes, multidisciplinary workshops and intensives. Benefit from a personalized accompaniment with BIG BANG and develop a research work to start a creation process. Apply to the artistic residency program and have access to a spacious, bright and safe space for your creations. Participate in the events organized at Espace Ouvert and contribute to the dynamism of the community.

Dance Studio Rental
Whether it is for dance, circus, theater or any other discipline, it is possible to rent the studio of Espace Ouvert. The 2,000 square foot space is ideally configured for teaching, creating or rehearsing. It is bright and air-conditioned, with a 40' x 25' sprung floor, dance floor carpet, sound system, kitchen, and bathroom. The ceiling height is 12 feet.

BIG BANG
WORK-IN-PROGRESS SOLO PRESENTATIONS

The 16th edition of BIG BANG is coming to a close. As always, it will culminate in public showings where the finishing artists will share an early draft of the research and creative work behind the solo they have developed throughout the program. The presentations will take place at ESPACE OUVERT on Thursday 27, Friday 28, and Saturday 29 November at 7PM. Espace Ouvert is committed to providing emerging artists with the opportunity to pursue their creative research and work in a specially-adapted studio. Your generous donation will allow us to cover the rental costs of the studio, as well as provide financial remuneration for the artists' dedicated time and effort in their creative endeavours.
