Jocelyn Snow
Biography
True to her Taurus nature, Jocelyn Snow is a forever student of the Earth, raised by the tide pools and Eastern pines of Maine (Wabanaki Land). It was in this nurturing soil where she planted the first seeds in her garden of contemporary dance, watering them graciously and watching them flourish wildly over time. This once small garden, fueled by technical training, has since blossomed into an abundant and vibrant field of wildflowers, each flower holding its unique value and significance in the ecosystem. Her most bountiful harvest this season has come from seeds of authentic movement, partnerwork, yoga, and somatics. While movement has been her biggest artistic love for nearly all of her life, she’s often found indulging in collage-making, and cooking (yes, it’s an art form). However, writing has settled cozy at home in her heart, becoming her most prominent creative love affair. Jocelyn’s an intuitive, an observer, and a fiercely passionate free-spirit. She walks through the world with tender care, seeking delights in the often unnoticed corners. In turn, the world speaks to her through metaphor

in the murky water she settles,
